I decided to publish this post when I was trying to find an answer to my curiousity about who was responsible for the schooling which You and I now enjoy. Since childhood we have been so baffled as to why our parents needed to force us to attend school daily, sitting down and listening to some jargons that doesn't even concern us. Some of us needed to be bribed with snacks, sweets, chocolates and creamy drinks to make us stop crying just because we were going to school, and when we begin to socialize; only then do our interest begin to spike up. At a point in time most of us began to think like "who even came up with that idea of attending school in the first place?" or "where did this issue of school even started from anyway?".   7 wonders of the ancient world and 3 other wonders to behold. Talking about wonders, there is a number of endless limit but some of these wonders cannot just be overlooked. THE SEVEN WONDERS OF THE WORLD The seven wonders of the world ( themata in Greek) was first put together by a man called Philo of Byzantium. He listed them in his research work titled "seven wonders of the world".  All the  7 wonders didn't  exist anymore except the Great  Pyramid of Giza which is still standing till this present day. Mungo park; the explorer of Niger river

  You've probably been hearing learning and wondering about one of the most recognised explorers of West Africa, Mungo Park. Mungo park Mungo park was a Scottish explorer of the famous River Niger in West Africa Nigeria. He began his exploration as early as 1796. Though his work was terminated at a point in time when he was killed during his journey down the Niger, his discovery has been a guide to subsequent geographers and even the British colonial masters. He was a young but committed man who researched to discover the fountain of the Niger River. After some success in his works, he decided to write a travel book titled TRAVELS IN THE INTERIOR DISTRICT OF AFRICA. The book was commended to be influential and popular. In this very book, he made it known that according to what he had discovered, the River Niger and River Congo were same River; claiming that both rivers merged together.  After this first theory, he decided to proceed in his second expedition where he has covered 2 o
